Rejection is just Redirection.

One thing that I have found throughout the last few years and something I am constantly reminding my friends and family is that rejection is just redirection. We have to stop being so afraid of the word “No” or the possibility of being rejected. Not going for that job, you want in case you get rejected, not asking that special person on a date in case they might reject you, not giving that person you think you could become really good friends with a message in case they aren’t interested. These are all examples of how being afraid of rejection can hold you back in life. Next time you have the fear about trying something new or making that move remind yourself, “Rejection is just redirection!”. If that person doesn’t want to be your friend or you don’t get that job, it’s okay! It’s not the end of the world. All it means is you gave it a bash, it never worked out and now you have been redirected in the path that’s meant to be for you. This technique has worked in my life and those around me, from getting the job that they’ve wanted, meeting new people and more. I was able to start this blog and build a business, the fear of rejection was real! But I never let that stop me and now I’m so grateful to myself for taking that leap! Don’t get me wrong there’s been plenty of rejections, but it never held me back just allowed me to forget about that avenue and strive towards something else. It can be applied to pretty much any aspect of life, so why don’t you try it and jump with both feet into rejection, trust me it’s not that painful. Don’t let your ego hold you back.
